Saly Portudal, a famous seaside resort on the Petite-Côte, south of Dakar, was originally a former Portuguese trading post.
Inaugurated in 1984, this seaside resort emerged at a time when Senegalese tourism was taking off.
It is home to numerous restaurants, a casino, a shopping center and a craft village.

Annual closure
The Saly Hôtel will remain open in 2024, and the Club Les Filaos hotel will be closed from September 1 to 26, 2024 inclusive.
